Zvířecí urny – Popel hlíně, hlína popelu.

 

Práce se zabývá možností uchování důstojné památky našich zvířecích miláčků. Popel zde není obsahem nádoby, ale stává se součástí nádoby samé v podobě popelové glazury. Cílem projektu je navrhnutí vhodného designu urny, její vytvoření a následné užití popelové glazury, která slouží jako povrchová úprava. V této podobě se tak tělo stává součástí svého vlastního relikviáře.

Animal urns - Ash to clay, clay to ash.

This thesis is concerned with the possibility of preserving the remains of our pets in a dignified way. The ash will not become the content of the jar, rather it becomes a part of the jar itself in the form of an ash glaze. The aim of this thesis is to create a suitable design for the urn, its creation and then the application of the ash glaze that becomes the finished surface. In this form the body becomes a part of the reliquary.
